در 20 دسامبر، مردی دو زن را در منطقه 12 پاریس گروگان گرفت. به گفته روزنامه نگاری از Europe 1، این مرد که به خاطر سابقه روانپزشکی خود شناخته شده است، مایل است با اریک دوپون مورتی صحبت کند.

به گفته یک منبع پلیس به نقل از خبرگزاری فرانسه، گروگان گیر پنجاه ساله و معروف به سابقه روانپزشکی، این دو زن را در مغازه ای در منطقه باستیل نگه می دارد. به گفته همین منبع، تیپ مداخله علمی (BRI) در محل به مقر پلیس اعزام شد که به طور پیشینی آثار تروریسم را منتفی می کند.

به گفته روزنامه نگاری از Europe 1، این مرد مایل است با وزیر دادگستری اریک دوپون مورتی صحبت کند.
